Special Session 2： Intelligent Computing and Smart Systems for Real-World Applications

This Special Session explores the forefront of intelligent computing and the evolution of smart systems, highlighting how innovative computational paradigms are reshaping industries and enhancing quality of life. With rapid developments in machine learning and hybrid intelligent architectures, we are witnessing a transformative era across science, engineering, and real-world applications. The session welcomes original research contributions that span both theoretical advancements and practical implementations. Topics include algorithmic innovations, intelligent data processing, edge AI, system-level integration, and the convergence of artificial intelligence with the Internet of Things (IoT). Through interdisciplinary discussion, we aim to uncover how intelligent computing can address global challenges in healthcare, sustainability, education, and beyond.

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
1. Innovative Algorithms for Intelligent Computing
2. Smart Systems and Edge Intelligence for Real-World Applications
3. Applications of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
4. Intelligent Data Mining and Knowledge Discovery
5. AI-Driven Innovation in Healthcare, Agriculture, Tourism, and Urban Development
6. Digital Transformation and Intelligent Education Systems

Special session proposals will be evaluated based on the timeliness of the topic, its uniqueness, and qualifications of the proposers. Accepted special sessions will be listed on the ICCAI 2026 website. To avoid multiple special sessions covering similar topics, it is likely that an accepted proposal will be combined with similar proposals. Organizers should not contribute more than one paper for the special session.

              ●  Notification of acceptance of the proposal: Jan. 25, 2026
              ●  Submission of papers for Special Sessions: Mar. 10, 2026
              ●  Notification of papers acceptance: Mar. 25, 2026
              ●  Deadline for camera-ready papers: Mar. 30, 2026

The papers should be formatted following the submissionn instructions. They should be submitted through the regular online submission system and will undergo the same peer-review process as regular papers. Proponents of special sessions are invited to submit their proposals in pdf attached to an email to the address: iccai@vip.163.com, with the Subject line: ‘Special Session Proposal’.
